As a dedicated Bristol County Divorce Lawyer, I often work with clients who need to make modifications to their divorce agreement.  Divorce agreements are often needed as time goes along because people’s lives change. Their needs, incomes, and schedules all change. A typical reason that someone would want to have a divorce agreement modified might be that they need their parenting schedule changed because of a work schedule change, or a change in child support because someone has significant increase in income.

The one thing though that will never change in a divorce agreement is the division of the assets and liabilities.  These are considered non-modifiable by the court. But the child related provisions can change because the court wants to ensure the best interest of the child.
